Well its a crazy week im on the last week of my two clases and I have 2 1,750 word essays due so I might not be seeing much action.

New Developments

Ahh, another post. I apologize to my one follower Kirith for the length of time between posts.
So lets recap shall we.

Personal Life, I'm in my eighth week of nine in my Critical Thinking, and Technical Writing for the IT Professinal classes. I love Critical Thinking and hate Technical Writing. I've also been working a lot. The combination of the two has led me to be a bit slack in posting recently.
Now lets move on to EVE online shall we.
After a subliminal suggestion by my longtime EVE friend Kirith Kodachi (Kodachi = 小太刀, short sword) I have joined ranks with M3 corperation.
I had a lengthy interview with two directors on TS (Team Speak) wich was more like chatting in a pub as opposed to an interview for membership. Maximus did say one thing that made me laugh my ass off " I dont mean to be a dick, but the only reason we are talking to you is because you know people " I took no hard feelings from this, and well yeah I know people. I've been around the block, dont let the SP fool you I'm as savy as any pilot with three times the SP (Skill Points).
Current events.
Last night, after contracting my stuff to Kiriths alt, I saw there was an Alliance Fleet in progress, 14 jumps away.
I said what the hell and flew down in my Sniper Maelstrom. There was a lot of convo chatter on the way down apparently teh WT's (war Targets) were plying station games. I arrived in time to play bait rep ship with two others to draw aggro from them. We undocked dre aggro repped each other and the rest of the fleet undocked and warped in from a tower the had 2 Capital ships and we had one Neutral Capitol on our side. after lots of pew pewing and docking and indocking we lost 0 ships and the lost 1 Falcon.
Not much action but a lot is to be said for standing ones ground and not taking any losses. It was fun. It revived an old pew pew feeling from my IPORC, STRIFE days.
There are some nuances I may need to get used with this new squad of guys, but overall I think I like them.

I finished rounding my armor and shield compensation skills all to 4 and I am currently training energy management 5. After that I will resume my 12 day hike to propulsion jamming 5 in preperation for a broadsword..mm yummy.
After that I belive I will be heading for Command Ships.....dun dun dun..

Le Sigh

Well in EVE at the moment I am rounding out my gunnery skills before making the lurch to T2 large Autos and Artie’s. I may round out some of my missile skills before moving on.
On a front my EVE account will be due this weekend and I am contemplating why I am going to keep my account, I have to ISK for a 60 GTC. Yet I find myself with nothing to do in game, no one I know is ever really on, and when I do make plans with old friends to fly together they fall through. So I guess I’m going to take the rest of this week to figure out what I’m going to do. I wish I could recreate the fun I i used to have with this game, I think right now I’m a stalled plane and I need to restart my engines. Le SIGH!!

Old friends die hard

I was suprised last night when I got home to see my MSN messneger with a chat from an old EVE buddy from way, way back when I first started EVE. Nhi"khuna an old pal from my first toon Xiao Jia.
Here is a little history, in 2006 I first started EVE at my older brothers prodding, I was in a pirate corp within days DSOTM (Dark Side of the Moon) then another of my brothers joined and we were steady pirating in low sec, after several months we had made friends with quite a few people and one or two in particular Nhi"Khuna's original toon Corbis Thalamr, and my first solo kill Eamon Delvara, now May West. We had a race to -10.0 and oh what times we had. After some tensions within DSOTM we split and sormed our own corp with Nhi and a my brothers and a few others joiing shortly thereafter, I guess this could be considered the first incarnation of Strife Mercanaries, it was IPORC ( Interstellar Privateers of Res Comunus) to make a really long story some what shorter we made a lot of friends there Minessis, Seven Six, Kla Strit, Kirith Kodachi, Hakk, ad others (sorry if I missed anyone) So again with the long short of it, many left and formed Strife Mercanaries, left that and re-formed it, left again and re-formed again.in the midstof that I quit sold Xiao Jia and then ended up coming back to EVE with Mushiashi Returns, quit again and now returned with Mushiashi Returns (Ill never get rid of a toon again) now we are scattered but still talk via the forum Kirith so generously provides.
So it seems Wendsday night at 8p.m. EST we will be going to do some Pew Pew with a few other buddies, man I cant wait I've been idle and skill training for so long I cant wait to fire up some of these long dormant warp drives, ahhh teh screams of terror how I have misseed you.

Skill Update

I finally got some nescessary skill sout of the way and I'm happily piloting my shiny new Sniper Munin. 12.5mil SP, wich by some standards is not a lot but I am happy with my accomplishments right now. I have a good fleet of ships going and I am trying to decide on my next move in EVE.

First Post

So I have decided to try my hand at this Blogging thing. After reafing my friend Kiriths blog for a long time I'm throwing my hat in the ring. His blog can be found here http://www.ninveah.com/ while I wont pretend to have the blogging skills of Kirith I will do my best.

I've been playing EVE on and off now for about 3 years andI am on my third toon, I made the mistake of selling off my first two toons Xiao Jia and Mushiashi Miyamato. Im on my third tooon now and I'm fianlly starting to feel like I have a chived some semblance of wht I had skillwise with my previous toons. I am just now hitting 12 million SP and have opened a whole new pathway in the types of ships I can pilot and pilot well.

I had a recent addition to my hangar a shiny new Munin, it tookme about two weeks to figure out what type of fitting I wanted to use. Try as I might I just couldent get myslef to set it up for close range combat, so I've stepped nto the realm of Sniper ships, which is a completley new realm for me.
My other recent purcahse was a Malestrom, another ship I'll be using a sniper setup on.
